Shot some first photos of a good friend ours - brand new baby girl. The shoot started out rough, as it always does whenever attempting to shoot an alert and wide awake baby!
So we waited a couple hours and she konked out - big time… Now we had our moment, our moment to shoot and we took full advantage of it! You know…an “out” or totally asleep baby is like a gumby doll, you can bend, move, whatever, and they’ll keep on sleeping!

Josh & Elissa :: Maternity and Some Fun!
Meet Josh and Elissa. Two of the coolest people we know and two of the most fun to photograph. From the start Elissa had an electric smile that was super contagious and spread like wildfire and they were game for just about anything, which, as a photographer, is so very cool. We shot primarily in our neighborhood which offers a lot of unique settings, props and backgrounds that make for great shots. We started very, very late and by the end of the session, about 20 minutes after starting (yes, 20 minutes) we were really fighting for light! I think these turned out very well and it was great fun shooting these two!
Hawaii Trip
So we took the family on vacation to Hawaii. It was a very long trip and at times stressful (with 3 kids, the youngest being 1) and but most of the time it was great fun had by all. Hawaii is a magical place where everyone and everything is so laid back and where people just go with the flow (not something I’m accustom to). Here’s some family pics taken while we were there.
Michael & Julie - Mostly Pregnany/Couple Pictures
This is Michael. Michael I’ve known for years and he really is like a brother to me. He’s a good guy, with a great heart. A great golfer that takes golf way to seriously! ;)
And this is Julie. This past year, Michael introduced us to Julie, she’s a golfer, a really good golfer at that, so much so, she’s beat me on many occasions and truth be told that’s not good for my golfing ego because us golfers always think we’re better than we really are! I heard golfers around the globe just say, “amen” to that… She’s a great person and I’m happy to know her.
Michael and Julie got engaged recently and they’re expecting a little one in the next few weeks. They approached me because they came to the realization that had no pictures of themselves and I was happy to help out.
So here’s what we’ve got! 
Pedde Family
So all I’m going to say about this session is that it was COLD, it was quick, it was fun, and yeah, it was COLD! Shooting in this type of weather is tough but quick because everyone wants out of the cold! The Pedde family… ROCKS!
Aubrey, Asher & Aniston - 2009
I photograph my kids all the time and it’s not like we’re lacking on photos. I think my family photo vault has about 16,000 family pictures. Yeah, I know, a lot but each one is precious. It’s not all that often where we get our kids dressed up for a nice session-style family photo, but today we did, and I’m very happy with the outcome. Kids this age don’t want to sit all that long, and I don’t care for the posed shots but these worked very well for us.
Paradowski part Deux
Had another session with our good friends, Britney & Ryan. This time we went to Stillwater, which, alone is an awesome place, but the possibilities are endless for great photos and textures there too…
